This includes 6 kg of clay. Above this amount it´s 40,- pr kilo clay, including glaze and firing. This is payed separate on the last evening on mobilpay.

Who Anybody who’d like to try throwing for the first time and those who wish to work on their skills. It is not suitable for children below 15.

What exactly we will look into, depends on the people attending. If newbies attend, I will make thorough introductions to the various skills. If people are more skilled, we will talk about what could be interesting for a demonstration, at the beginning of each class. Since it’s a small group, lots of individual guidance will be possible. Either way, there will be demonstrations, which everybody can attend, but it’s also fine, if you choose to do your own thing at the wheel.

Possible themes for classes could be basic cylinders for the first night. It could be open forms / bowls, closed forms / moon jars, throwing wider or large pieces on bats, plates / flatware, lidded forms, trimming on chucks, pulling handles and much more. Tools, clays and much more will of course be introduced too.

Glazing There will be a glaze evening on the last night of the course. I will give a thorough introduction to various glazing techniques, tools and safety. We will be using a selection of my personal glaze collection.

What to bring Aprons and tools will be available. But feel free to bring your own.

Coffee and tea will be available. Feel free to bring food or whatever you’d like. Shopping is possible across the street. There is no fancy canteen to eat in though.

Cleaning is mandatory. Therefore the last 1/2 hour is for getting everything back on the shelves and cleaning up together. Everybody helping each other.

Notification Approximately 1 week before the class begins, an email will be send to you, with an update on nice to know-info. So make sure i receive the correct email adress in your order.

Gift If you give a course to someone as a gift or if you buy classes for others, please make sure the recipient gets the notification email, prior to the beginning of the class.
