Welcome to an intense weekend throwing class for slightly to more experienced people.

Time Both days 11 till 4pm.

Duration 10 hours / 2 days.

Price 2200 dkr / €293 incl VAT.

This includes clay, firing and glazing by me after the class is finished.

Language Danish and English

Who Anyone who’s been throwing a little or more extensive and wishes to work on their skills. It is not suitable for children below 15.

What exactly we will look into depends on the people attending. We will talk about what could be interesting for demonstrations, with each step adding more technical skills. Since it’s a small group, lots of individual guidance will be possible.

Possible themes for classes could be open forms / bowls, closed forms / moon jars, throwing on plaster bats, plates / flatware, throwing in sections and assembling, trimming on chucks, pulling handles and much more.

Finished pieces You can have a maximum of three pieces fired. I will glaze them after the class, and you can choose between 3 of my glazes: Woodash, Moss green and Granite blue. If your piece exceeds 25 × 25 cm, an additional fee will be added to the price, depending on exact size.

Once the pieces are finished, you can pick them up at the studio or they can be sent to you with an additional shipping fee. Fee will be calculated depending on destination.

What to bring Aprons and tools will be available. But feel free to bring your own.

Coffee and tea will be available. Feel free to bring food or whatever you’d like. Shopping is possible across the street. There is no fancy canteen to eat in, though.

Cleaning is mandatory in a pottery studio. Therefore, the last 1/2 hour of Sunday is for getting everything back on the shelves and cleaning up together. Everybody will be helping each other.

Notification Approximately 1 week before the class begins, an email will be sent to you with an update on nice to know-info. So make sure I receive the correct email address in your order.

Gift If you give a course to someone as a gift or if you buy classes for others, please make sure the recipient gets the notification email prior to the beginning of the class.
