Description
The unique vases are usually made in limited series, exploring a specific design or surface. This could be a type of rim, a special type of curve, a particular kind of base, a type of glaze with a special texture, or something entirely different. The special aspect is that each time it involves a set of experiments limited to one or a few vases, none of which are identical. Often, multiple layers of glaze are applied, making it almost impossible to replicate the outcome.

The vases are handmade from stoneware clay on a potter's wheel, trimmed, dried, fired for the first time, then glazed with my homemade glazes and fired again.

This particular unique vase has a textured, crackled surface. The colors are white from a layer of porcelain and a underlying golden layer of Outer glaze, visible in the crackling. 
Note - This vase is not as fragile as it looks. But you still need to be careful, as the surface is more or less crackled. Don’t think of it as a regular vase, but more as a display piece.

And always remember that colors and textures are extremely difficult to capture accurately on screen. I do my very best, but different screens always produce slightly different results.
